For the week ending January 24th , hardware sales were up significantly from the previous year. However, the previous week saw a slight dip in year over year sales. With DS and Wii supply increasing steadily despite worries over Nintendo's earnings report, hardware sales trends are still positive even though the industry is starting to get grazed by the recession.
