PSPgo IGN Staff Impressions

The PSPgo is finally upon us, offering up a digital-only way to play games while on the road. No UMD drive means that your old games won’t work on the system, though the built-in storage and promise of hundreds upon hundreds of games available for download via the PlayStation Store means that newcomers may find a lot to like.

IGN has already gone into great deal of what they think when they really get their hands on the system in their full PSPgo review, but not everyone in their office has been able to do so yet. So, they decided to pass around Sony’s latest handheld, let pretty much everyone in editorial play it for a few minutes and offer up quick and early impressions on it - you know, the sort of stuff that you’d get if you played a demo unit at a store.

While everyone’s time with the system was limited, the variety of opinions here should give you a good idea of what most people will think of the system when they first pick it up.
