New Scam via Xbox Live

Entrepreneurial Xbox Hackers are now starting a new racket.  The 10th Prestige Lobby is something that you may or may not have heard of. What it is: A 10th Prestige Lobby is a game hosted by a user with a modified Xbox 360. Known as a "Jtagged" Xbox this modification allows the user to alter the rules of the game that they are hosting. Giving anyone that plays in their room an opportunity to level up by making one kill, or any other number of rules that can be implemented by the host.(more)

Problems with Microsoft’s Game Room?

It seems that there may be problems with Microsoft’s new XBLA venture: Game Room.

Our console here at the office gets stuck at around 20% when trying to load the client, and a search on Twitter using the #GameRoom tag seems to reveal many other people experiencing a similar problem.

Atari and Cryptic Studios release new expansion for Champions Online

Atari Inc. and renowned MMO developer Cryptic Studios, have unleashed Revelation, the first full-fledged expansion for the ultimate superhero universe, Champions Online, which originally launched in September of 2009.

Champions Online: Console Version Ruled Out

GamerZines: Cryptic Studios have finally put all those console development rumours to bed by declaring on the official forums that they don’t have any plans to port Champions Online.

"100% of our focus is on making the current PC product the best it can be," explained the Cryptic’s chief operating officer. "There are no current plans for a console version of Champions."

I Never Want to Play Mass Effect 2 Again

It’s only February, and already Mass Effect 2 has set the bar that all 2010 Game Of The Year contenders will need to hurdle to even enter the conversation. I finished it this morning, and I can tell you that it is definitely as good as you’ve been hearing.

Between Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2 we’ve been blessed with two spectacular BioWare epics in the last 90 days. While there are obvious similarities between the two games, and both titles definitely received a sprinkling of Ye Olde BioWare Magic, there is one glaring difference that struck me while the Mass Effect 2 credits were rolling.
